Meanwhile, Malaysian PM Najib Razak has called for some form of Autonomy for the three million plus Malays of the Patani Region, a huge chunk of resource-rich real estate encompassing the Thai-held provinces of Patani (Pattani), Menara (Narathiwat), Jala (Yala) and parts of Singgora (Songkhla). Kedah's old Setul district, now Thailand's Satun province, may also be in this Autonomy equation.
Bangkok's The Nation gave this well-balanced opinion.

The video had been carefully edited if you care to look closely. There is no doubt that the Thai soldiers did beat that person up but the Muslim who posted it up is up to no good too.

ขอ เล่าเรื่องอะไรที่มันไม่เอาสาระหน่อยนะ ก็ผ่านมาไม่นานเท่าไหร่ จำได้ว่าเป็นคืนก่อนวันเกิด ได้มีโอกาสไปล่องเรือ กินลม ชมบรรยากาศ ไปตามลำน้ำเจ้าพระยา ก็ไม่ได้ไปกับคนรู้ใจที่ไหนหรอก แต่ไปกับเพื่อนสาวที่ทำงาน เรือที่ว่านี่เป็นเรือเจ้าพระยาพริ้นเซส บรรยากาศเสิศ อาหารอร่อย ดนตรีใช้ได้ ที่ดีกว่านั้นก็คงจะเป็นวิวสวย ๆ สองฝั่งแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยายามค่ำคืนนั่นเอง ถ้าจะให้สุขสุด ๆ ก็อยากให้ใครคนนั้นมาดื่มด่ำบรรยากาศไปด้วยกัน ว่ามั๊ย
